Parent Date and Uniform Letter

                                                                                                                July 15, 2007

Dear Parents:

The 2007-2008 school term steadily approaches. It is time to share some important information with you. Some report cards and student belongings are still at school while they should be at home. Old accounts must be cleared prior to re-entry.

August 1 and 2, 2007, the dates of our final formal registration and re-registration sessions are only a couple weeks away. The hours are the same as posted in your last letter at the end of the term and in the two-page letter enclosed dated July 6, 2007. If your child is returning to or coming to FES for the first time, it is now time to formally do something about it rather than waiting until the last minute.

For the first time all students may wear yellow short and long sleeve Polo Shirts during specified times of the year, i.e., early fall and late spring when temperatures are generally too high to comfortably wear ties. Rush Uniform, Inc. does carry these shirts. Rush Uniform, Inc. urges our parents to order ahead of time; do not wait until the last minute. Yes, most students probably do need at least a fresh sweater. Each student should have a decent looking regulation sweater. This was not always so last year. The same comment is applicable to ties for boys. Some of the ties worn last year just simply will not be acceptable this term. It would be a good idea to have two or three in some cases.

Girls may wear maroon, burgundy, or yellow socks or tights, though the school still prefers the maroon or burgundy, but realize that these colors are not always easy to find. Upper-grades girls may wear the regulation jumper or skirt. Boys are required to wear a belt that is appropriate for his waist size. No pants without belts. We would like it if our students present themselves daily as a reflection of the high taste of their parents and the school.

The initial payment (first and tenth installments, $700.00) per student or the appropriate amounts after application of a ten or fifteen percent deduction is due August 1, 2007. Late fees of $30.00 or $35.00 apply after August 3, and August 5, respectively. Completed forms are also due at that time. Mon. Aug. 27, is the first day of classes for cleared students only. Open House/PTO Meeting will be Sept.10, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.

                                                                                                            Sincerely in Christian faith,
