BEFORE
AND AFTER-SCHOOL CHARGES
Childcare will be billed at a $4.20 hourly rate (.07 per
minute for the first student,; the rate for a second student in child care is
$3.00 hourly, or .05 per minute; a third student in care is billed $1.20 hourly,
or .02 per minute. Computerized
childcare statements will be provided. Payment is expected at least twice per
month, on the first and fifteenth. Childcare is charged for time before and
after student's regular school day. Late pick-up cost is $1.00 per minute.
Morning childcare service is offered: 7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
daily, Mon.-Fri.; afternoon childcare service is offered: and, 3:16 p.m. and
4:31 p.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and up to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays. Late charge
for p.m. care will be $1.00 per minute after scheduled closing times. Returning
parents should note that while the school is not increasing student tuition for
the fourth year now, this is the second year return to the former practice of
charging for morning childcare services.
Parents are reminded that it is their responsibility to
arrange for alternative child care on early dismissal days, or be
prepared to be billed by the school when their child remains at school on an
early dismissal day (and this is only provided the school offers such services
on a given early dismissal day). See the recommended list of child care providers and also note
the days when early dismissals are scheduled.
Efforts will be made to provide weekly (Monday after)
childcare statements or at least once per month. Payments of
childcare services must be made once or twice per month if the child is expected
to continue to receive childcare services.
Parents are requested to sign their children in for morning
childcare services and to sign their child out for afternoon childcare services.
This will increase the parent’s confidence in the eventual bill that will be
provided for payment. When there is a question about an entry and the parent has
not signed-in or signed-out his or her child, the entry made by the care
provider will likely be accepted. Sign-in and Sign-out records are kept in the office and
may be reviewed for accuracy in comparison with bills for payment at any
mutually convenient time. Any error, whether up or down, will be corrected upon discovery or notice
irregardless whether the error results in a decrease of increase of the bill’s
total payment in question.
Parents will be billed $1.00 per minute for all late pick-ups after the posted closing time for the service.
